dc.description.abstractPakistan is facing extreme water scarcity issue due to massive migration in last 2 decades which leads to other environmental problems such as Urban Heat Island effect and Climate Change. Green spaces are continuously transformed into paved area to accommodate the residents. Lack of green spaces leads to above-mentioned environmental issues. Sector G14/4 is the case study area in the present research. The aim of research was to give design base solutions to reduce the water scarcity issue, Urban Heat Island Effect and transformed the urban landscape back into green sustainable city. Recycled greywater was utilized as a sustainable solution to irrigate the green space. Park, green belt, and roof garden prototype design were prepared based on expert’s opinion and survey result to make the society green.eng
dc.description.abstractPakistanil on viimase kahe aastakümne jooksul tekkinud tohutu veepuuduse probleem, mis põhjustab muid keskkonnaprobleeme, nagu Linna soojussaare mõju ja kliimamuutused. Elanike majutamiseks muudetakse haljasalad pidevalt sillutatud alaks. Rohelise ruumi puudumine toob kaasa eelnimetatud keskkonnaküsimusi. Sektor G14/4 on käesolevas teadustöös juhtumiuuringu valdkond. Uuringu eesmärk oli anda projekteerimispõhisi lahendusi veepuuduse probleemile, Linna soojussaare mõju ja muuta linnamaastiku roheliseks jätkusuutlikuks linnaks. Taaskasutatud hallvett kasutati jätkusuutliku lahendusena haljasala niisutamiseks. Pargi, rohelise vöö ja katuseaia prototüübi kujunduse koostati eksperdi arvamuse ja uuringutulemuste põhjal, et muuta ühiskonna roheliseks.est
