Abstract

Phosphorus is a nutrient absorbed by soil for plants, and that is why it has been the subject of numerous research on the soil over the last century. The aims of this work are to study the H3A-4 method to determine the content of herbal remedies absorbed by plants in Estonian soils; explain how different soil parameters affect the correlation between different methods used so far; Find how much of the extracted phosphorus is in the phosphate form; Check that the results of the phosphate phosphorus prescribed on different methods of analysis coincide and study the link between the organic matter content of the soil and the organic P fraction. The research analyzes 15 soil samples (pH 4,74-7,1). The results of the H3A-4 are compared by AL and Mehlich3. The H3A-4 method uses an organic acid solution as an extraction solution to mimic a real root environment where the plant absorbs nutrients. The results of the P content determined by the H3A-4 and Me3 methods were medium or weak. The relationship between the AL and H3A-4 methods was both strong and very strong. In the future, it would be necessary to perform new soil analyzes by H3A-4 and compare them with other well-known methods.
