Small scale farming, in the entire world but particularly southern countries including Morocco, faces considerable uncertainties regarding income perceived, due to several factors including climate change, high costs of inputs, and low return on investment, impacting considerably the families livelihoods in rural areas. The object of this research is to figure out if permaculture could actually improve the livelihood of smallholder farmers in an international context, with the case of Morocco as an example. The method applied to this research is based on the reading and analysis of secondary data from research papers to governmental reports, but also through the development of a questionnaire shared among permaculturists from Morocco in order to bring elements that will support the outcome.eng
Väikesed põllumajandustootjad maailmas, kuid eriti lõunapoolsetes riikides, sealhulgas Marokos, seisavad silmitsi märkimisväärse sissetulekutega ebakindlusega. See ebakindlus sissetulekute osas on tingitud mitmetest teguritest, sealhulgas kliimamuutustest, kõrgetest sisendihindadest ja madalast investeeringutasuvusest, mõjutades tulemusena oluliselt maapiirkondade perede toimetulekut. Käesoleva uurimistöö eesmärk on välja selgitada, kas permakultuur võiks parandada väikeste perefarmide toimetulekut Maroko põllumajandustootjate näitel.
