Abstract
Viimaste aastate vältel on kasvanud mahetoidu osakaal toiduturul, mis on tingitud turu nõudlusest ja soovist majandada keskkonnasõbralikumalt. Antud töö eesmärk on analüüsida mahe- ja tavatootmise mõju piima omahinnale ning seejuures selgitada, milliseid muutusi peab Nopri talu läbi viima, et minna loomakasvatuses tavatootmiselt üle mahetootmisele. Kuigi oluline osa tööst põhineb erialakirjandusel, antakse teises osas ülevaade ettevõttest ja vajalikest muudatustest, mis on mahetootmisele ülemineku eeldusteks. Käesoleva töö tagasihoidlikku mahtu arvestades võib hinnata, et mahetootmisele üleminekul tõuseks Nopri talus toodetava piima omahind üle 30%. Kõrgem omahind on tingitud söödatootmise kallinemisest, vajaliku haritava maa suurenemisest, täiendavatest investeeringuvajadustest loomade heaolusse ja karjatamisse ning muudest lisanduvatest kuludest. Käesolev töö pakub Nopri talule pisut abi mahetootmisele ülemineku otstarbekuse üle otsustamisel.

During the recent years, the production of organic goods has increased, which is caused by market demand and the desire to manage in a more environmentally conscious way. The aim of this work is to analyse the difference of organic and conventional production on the net price of milk. Although the main body of the work is literature-based, the second part of it gives an overview of the enterprise alongside with the possible changes resutling from the conversion to organic production. Considering the limitations of this study, it is predicted that conversion to organic standards would increase the net price of milk at Nopri farm by more than 30%. The higher net price is caused by inreased expenditure of providing feed, the need for more arable land and additional investments required for animal welfare, grazing and other costs. The results of this study help the farm to better plan for its conversion to organic production.
