This files describe the archived files associated with the paper "Sulfoxaflor modulates diet-dependent effects on bumble bee development but shows no detectable effects on adult respiration rate and patterns" By Margret Jürison, Pilleriin Teras, Kaarel Pent, Vivika Väli, Risto Raimets, Sigmar Naudi, Angela Ploomi, Marika Mänd, Reet Karise 1. survival_and_development_dataset.csv This dataset contains raw individual-level data used to analyse the effects of pollen diet and sulfoxaflor exposure on bumble bee (Bombus spp.) development, survival, and adult traits across larval, pupal, and adult stages. The columns are described as follows: larva_id – unique identifier for each individual experimental_group – combined treatment label (e.g. FB Ctrl, OSR SXF500) pollen – pollen diet (FB, OSR, MFP) treatment – pesticide treatment (Ctrl, SXF500, SXF1000) plate – experimental plate ID (random effect) hive – colony ID (random effect) pre_treatment_death – mortality before treatment (0 = alive at day 4, 1 = died before exposure) larval_time_to_event – time (days) from start of treatment to event (death or transition to pupa) pupal_time_to_event – duration (days) of pupal stage until emergence or death total_development_time – total time (days) from larva to adult emergence weight_g – adult body mass (grams); NA if individual did not emerge 2. larval_area_dataset.csv This dataset contains repeated measurements of larval size used to analyse growth trajectories under different pollen diets and sulfoxaflor treatments. The columns are described as follows: nr – unique larva identifier (used as random effect in mixed models) plate – experimental plate ID (random effect) hive – colony ID (random effect) experimental_group – combined treatment label pollen – pollen diet (FB, OSR, MFP) treatment – pesticide treatment (Ctrl, SXF500, SXF1000) day – day of measurement (4, 8, 12) area – larval body size (mm²) 3. raw_data_respiratory_measurements.xlsx This file contains the CO2 measurements (in µmol/mol) recorded in the study. Each column corresponds to a single bumble bee, and each sheet represents a different treatment group. The columns are described as follows: time_s: time in seconds at which the LI-7000 (LiCor, Lincoln, NE) device logged CO2 release in bumble bees co2_...: CO2 measurements for each individual bee
