Abstrakt
Siinses bakalaureusetöös uuriti Eesti erametsa ettevõtete ja ühistute hinnanguid
metsamajandamise sertiftitseerimisele. Töö aluseks on 28 sertifitseeritud
metsandusettevõtte ja metsaühistu antud vastused, kelle esindajad vastasid 2019.aastal
kaheksale küsimusele QuestionPro keskkonnas. Küsimustiku eeskujuks on Rumeenias
In this Bachelor's thesis, the assessments of Estonian private forest companies and cooperatives on forest management certification were studied. The work is based on the answers given by 28 certified forestry companies and forest associations, whose representatives answered eight questions in 2019 in the QuestionPro environment. The example of the questionnaire is from the survey conducted in Romania, which was adapted to Estonian conditions. There were three main reasons for wanting to have a certificate: for the regulations and economic benefits of the timber market, and for raising reputation. According to forestry companies and forest associations, the main obstacle of certification is extensive documentation and bureaucracy. The study shows that the main problem of certified companies and cooperatives is they haven’t gotten the desired income, which can be explained by the industry, the prevailing demand in the market, as well as the recent certification.
