Abstrakt
Viinmarjade Eestis kasvatamise populaarsuse kasvuga on üha enam nõudlust põhjamaises
kliimas kasvavate viinapuu sortide vastu. Töö eesmärgiks on välja selgitada, kuidas mõjutab
kasvukoht (avalmaa vs. katmikala) viinamarja valmimise kvaliteeti ja sobivust veinitööstuse
tarbeks.
Katsesse on valitud kolm sorti ’Zilga’, ’Hansanski Sladki’ ja ’ Supaga’, mis kasvavad kahes
erinevas kasvukohas. Tartumaal Rõhu katseaias ja EMÜ Mahekeskuse aias avamaa
tingimustes, katmikala katsed toimusid Pärnumaal Saare-Tõrvaaugu aiandis.
Katsetulemused näitasid, et 2014. aastal olid katmikala tingimustes viinapuude
saagikvaliteedi näitajad oluliselt erinevad võrreldes avamaal valminud viljadel. Tulemusi
mõjutas oluliselt avamaal katsevariantide kaks nädalat hilisem küpsemisemise algus. Sellest
tulenevalt valmis saak katmikalal varem kui avamaal. Punase veini jaoks optimaalse kuivaine
sisalduse saavutasid ainult katmikala variandid. Kõik katses olnud variandid olid aga liiga
happerikkad.
Saab väita, et uurimistöö hüpotees: kasvukoht mõjutab viinamarjade kvaliteeti, leidis
kinnitust. Tootjatele soovituste andmiseks on siiski vajalik katseid jätkata, sest kahe
järjestikusse aasta tulemused erinesid teatud määral.
Rising popularity of cultivating grapevine in Estonia is increasing the demand for grape variety which are suitable for Northern climate. The purpose of the experiment was to identify the influences of growing site conditions (open field and greenhouse) to the quality of grapevine yield suitable for winemaking. In this experiment there were included 3 cultivars: ‘Zilga’, ‘Hasanski Sladki’ and ‘Supaga’ which were grown on two different open field sites located in Tartu county (Rõhu Experimental Centre of the Estonian University of Life Sciences and Research Centre of Organic Farming) and greenhouse experiments were held in Pärnu county at Saare-Tõrvaaugu gardening farm. In 2014 greenhouse grapes achieved better quality yield than on open field. On open field grapes started to ripen 2 weeks later than in greenhouse. Optimal soluble solids content was achieved only in greenhouse variants. Organic acid content levels in all the experiment variant exceeded the recommended range suggested in the literature The hypothesis that growing site influences grapevine yield was confirmed when statistical analyses showed significant influence on all the criteria’s relating to the grape quality. 2014 experiment results showed cultivar did not have significant influence on sugar content and other parameters relating to this characteristic. Further experiments are recommended due to the fact that over two-year experiment results in some grape quality parameters varied significantly.
