Lahemaa rahvuspargis on Natura 2000 võrgustikku kuuluvaid metsaelupaiku mahukamalt
inventeeritud kahel erineval perioodil: Keskkonnaministeeriumi tellimusel 2001. aastal ja
Keskkonnaameti tellimusel 2010. ja 2011. aastal. Samas puudub hetkel kahe inventuuri
andmete täpsem võrdlus, mis annaks objektiivse ülevaate rahvuspargis inventeeritud
metsaelupaikade pindalalade muutustest, asetustest ja elupaigatüübi vahetumistest.
Lõputöö eesmärgiks oli tuvastada Lahemaa rahvuspargis esindatud kümne
metsaelupaigatüübi pindalalisi suuruseid, asetusi ja muutuseid, võttes aluseks kahel erineval
perioodil teostatud inventuuride andmed.
Bakalaureuse töös kasutatud andmed on Mapinfo Professional andmetöötlusprogrammi
failide formaadis, mis sisaldavad ruumilisi kaardikihte ning nendega seotud andmetabeleid ja
on saadud Eesti Looduse Infosüsteemi (EELIS) andmebaasist ning Keskkonnaametilt.
Lõputöö metoodikaks on Mapinfo andmetöötlusprogrammi käskude abil andmetabelitega
seotud kaardikihtide ruumiline võrdlemine ja töötlemine.
Lahemaa rahvuspargis on kahe inventuuri käigus kümmet metsaelupaika inventeeritud
11 528,03 ha suurusel maa-alal ja elupaigatüübi vahetumine on kahe inventuuri vahelisel
perioodil toimunud 1669,19 ha suurusel maa-alal. Enamus sellest on aset leidnud loodusliku
suktsessiooni teel, ent kindlasti on ühe osa muutuste põhjuseks mõni antropogeenne tegur (nt
inventeerijate erinevad arvamused).
Uurimistöö tulemused annavad kahe inventuuri andmete alusel selge ülevaate rahvuspargi
kümne metsaelupaiga pindaladest 2011. aasta seisuga, üldisematest asetustest ja
metsaelupaikade suktsessioonidest. Saadud tulemused ja järeldused on kasulikud tulevikus
kaitsekorralduskavade koostamisel, kaitsekorraldustööde planeerimisel ja kaitsevööndite
haldamisel ning aitavad paremini mõista looduses toimuvaid muutuseid.
Edasi on võimalik uurida metsaelupaigamuutuste täpsemaid põhjuseid, et mõista paremini
Lahemaa rahvuspargi looduskeskkonda, looduslikke toimimisviise ja antropogeenseid
tegureid. Lisaks tuleb looduskaitselisest seisundist lähtuvalt metsaelupaikade paiknemist
uurida ka esinduslikkuse ja väärtuslikkuse järgi.
Forest habitat inventories were conducted in two different periods in Lahemaa National Park. The first inventory was conducted in 2001 by Estonian Ministry of the Environment and the second one was made in 2010 and 2011 by Estonian Environmental Board. At the moment, there are no detailed compare of data of these forest habitat inventories, which could give proper overview of the size, changes and arrangements of forest habitats in Lahemaa National Park. A purpose of the thesis is to examine ten types of forest habitat changes during the time period (10 years) between the two inventories in Lahemaa National Park. The data was obtained from Estonian Nature Information System (EELIS–abbreviation in Estonian) and from Estonian Environmental Board. Comparison between different map layers and data was made and results analysed. Data was formatted using Mapinfo Professional software. The map layers and the tables were analysed and compared using Mapinfo resources. The area of 11 528,03 hectares in the national park was used for the two inventories of ten forest habitats and habitat changes during the period of time between the two inventories occurred on 1669,19 hectares. Main reason is natural succession, but also anthropogenic factors have definitely the big role in it (ex. different views of specialists). Results provide a depth overview of these ten forest habitat sizes, changes occurring there and arrangements. The final results are useful for the preparation of nature protection management plans and works. Furthermore, they give a better understanding how nature processes work in Lahemaa National Park. One of the possible directions for further research is to investigate the reasons for habitat changes (ex. anthropogenic factors). Also obtain more comprehensive overview of Lahemaa National Park and natural process occurring in similar conditions. At last it’s useful to examine forest habitat locations by representativity and value for the nature protection management plans.
