Abstrakt
Kliima ja selle muutumine ajas on tänapäeval väga aktuaalne teema. On oluline, et
teadustöös kasutatavad ilmastikuandmed oleksid võimalikult täpsed, usaldusväärsed, ja
võimalikult pika aegreaga. Selleks, et ilmaandmete õigsuses veenduda on vaja teostada
kontrolle ja võrrelda saadud andmeid võimalikult sarnaste ning asukoha suhtes lähedaste
andmetega samal ajaperioodil.
Töös kasutatud põhiandmestiku ilmaandmed on pärit Järvselja ilmavaatlusvihikutest ning
võrdlusi on teostatud Keskkonnaagentuuri käest saadud Tõravere meteoroloogiajaama
ilmaandmetega.
Käesoleva bakalaureusetöö eesmärgiks on digitaliseerida ajaloolisi Järvselja ilmaandmeid
perioodil 1955–1978 ning ühtlustada ja kontrollida andmeid perioodil 1955–2015.
Digitaliseeritud andmestiku kontrollimiseks kasutati Järvselja ilmavaatluspunktile kõige
lähedasemat pika mõõtmisreaga Riigi Ilmateenistuse vaatlusvõrku kuuluva Tartu-Tõravere
meteoroloogiajaama mõõtmisandmeid.
Andmete kontrolli käigus selgusid andmestikus esinevad lüngad. Selgusid Järvseljal
puhunud tuule kiirused ja suunad kogu perioodi vältel. Ilmaandmete põhjal arvutati välja
nii maksimaalsed kui ka minimaalsed õhutemperatuurid, samuti keskmine õhutemperatuur.
Sademete summad kalendriaastate kaupa ning sademete maksimumid päevade, kuude
kaupa.
Analüüsitud andmetest selgus, et Järvselja piirkonnas on tõusvas trendis keskmine
õhutemperatuur, maksimaalne õhutemperatuur ja minimaalne õhutemperatuur. Selle
tulemusena pikeneb vegetatsiooniperiood nii kalendriaasta alguse kui lõpu arvelt.
Töös kasutati arvutuste, jooniste, tabelite ja analüüside tegemiseks programme MS Excel ja
R.
In the modern world climate and it’s changing trends have become a very important subject to not only talk about, but to use climate data in predicting future climate behavior and change. It is important, that data, especially which is being used in scientific research, to be reliable, easily understandable and goes back as long as possible. To make sure scientific data is as reliable as possible, it needs to be checked for errors and misreading’s by comparing it to the nearest reliable and similar weather station data. Weather data used in this thesis originates from Järvselja and was historically stored in climate notebooks. Comparisons with Järvselja data were made with Tõravere field station data, that was given by Keskkonnaagentuur. The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to digitalize historical Järvselja weather observation point data from period of 1955 to1978 and also to control, uniform and calculate monthly and yearly averaged values for all main measured weather variables from 1955 to 2015. To check that Järvselja data was reliable, a simple comparison was carried out with data from Tartu-Tõravere field station, that is being managed by Riigi Ilmateenistus. During the Control stage it became apparent how much data was missing and what errors were present. Results showed how strong and from where was the wind blowing, what were the maximum, minimum and average air temperatures. The yearly, monthly and daily precipitation sum. By observing the constructed graphs, it became apparent that by years passing the temperature raises and that makes the growing period last longer year by year. All the figures and tables in this thesis have been made with the programs MS Excel and R.
