Abstrakt
Bakalaureusetöös on välja toodud harvendusraie mõju puude radiaalsele juurdekasvule kuusikus. Tänapäeval on Eestimaal ja ka mujal Euroopas kuusikute majandamine väga problemaatiline ja aktuaalne teema. Töö eesmärk on uurida puhtkuusikus radiaalse juurdekasvu reageerimist raiele sõltuvalt puudevahelise konkurentsi muutmisest harvendusraie tulemusena. Välja on toodud ka üldine arutelu harvendusraietest kuusikutes ja kuuse bioloogilistest, ökoloogilistest iseärasustest.
Töös antakse ülevaade kirjanduses leiduvatele allikatele ja arutletakse välitöödel saadud tulemuste osas. Bakalaureusetöö tulemusena kirjeldati puhtkuusiku seisundit enne raiet ja pärast raiet. Kõige olulisem osa tööst oli antud proovitüki/katseala reageerimine harvendusraiele puude radiaalsele juurdekasvule.
In my bachelor work I studied the impact of the thinning on the radial growth of trees in spruce stand. Nowadays, managing spruce stands is very problematic and actual in Estonia and in Europe. The main aim of the research was to study the thinning impact of the trees in spruce stand and also how trees can compete with each ohter. Also, a the study overall discussion about thinning in spruce stand and ecological and biological features is presented in the study. The bachelor thesis gives an overview of the literature and discussion on the results of the fieldwork. In the results of the work we describe the condition in spruce stand before and after the thinning. The most important finding is how the thinning managed to change the forest radial growth in the long term.
