Abstrakt
Lõputöö keskendub vanadelt ustelt efektiivsemal viisil viimistluse eemaldamisele. Kaks ust puhastatakse viimistlusest ja taaskasutatakse voodi ehitamisel. Eesmärgiks on luua ja teostada inspireeriv tehnoloogiline projekt, mis hõlmab efektiivsel viisil puhastatud täispuidust uste taaskasutamist. Kokku katsetati ühtteist erinevat meetodit, mille tulemused koondati hindamistabelisse. Tabelis on hinnatud meetodite pinnakvaliteeti, kasutamise lihtsust, ajakulu, algviimistlusele sobivust, jääkide teket ning keskkonnasõbralikkust. Voodi ehitamiseks valmistati tehnoloogia projekt, mille põhjal ehitati voodi valmis. Tööst saab lugeda täispuidust mööbli taastamise ja viimistlemise põhitõdede kohta. Töö sihtgrupiks on algajad asjaarmastajad. Katsetest selgus, et õli baasil värvi eemaldamiseks on kolm efektiivset meetodit. Sarnase töö tegemisel võiks värvi eemaldamiseks katsetada CNC masinat.
The thesis focuses on the effective removal of finishes from antique doors. The project involves stripping two doors of their finish and repurposing them for bed construction. The aim is to create and execute an inspiring technological project that efficiently utilizes cleaned solid wood doors. A total of eleven different methods were evaluated, and the findings were summarized in an evaluation table. This table assesses the methods based on surface quality, ease of use, time consumption, compatibility with the original finish, residue generation, and environmental friendliness. A comprehensive technological and design plan for the bed construction was developed and utilized as a framework for the project. The thesis provides a detailed exploration of the fundamental principles involved in restoring and finishing solid wood furniture, aimed specifically at beginners. It was found out that three methods are efficient for removing oli-based colour. For similar projects, experimenting with a CNC machine for paint removal could be considered.
