Abstrakt
Punasüdamikuga puit on väheväärtuslik materjal, mida ei kasutada punasüdamik puidu ja terve
puidu värvuse erinevuse tõttu nii palju, kui võiks. Käesoleva lõputöö eesmärgiks on kase ja lepa
punasüdamik puidu ja terve puidu värvuse erinevuse kadumine termilise töötlusega.
Uurimustöös kasutati punasüdamikuga kaske, halli leppa ja sangleppa. Kokku oli töös 99
katsekeha. Antud töös vaadati, kuidas muutub punasüdamikuga puidu ja terve puidu värvus
peale termilist töötlemist ja kas peale termilist töötlemist hööveldamine, lihvimine ning
õlitamine muudab terve ja punasüdamikuga puidu värvuse erinevust.
Uurimustöö tulemustest selgus, et lihvimine ja hööveldamine suurt erinevust ei tekita. Kui puitu
peale termilist töötlemist õlitada, kaob punasüdamik puidu ja terve puidu värvuse erinevus
madalamas töötlusastmes kui õlitamata puidul.
Red heartwood is a low-value material that is not used as much as it could be due to the difference in color between the red heartwood and the healthy wood. The thesis is about the disappearance of the color difference between birch and alder red heartwood and healthy wood by heat treatment. In this research, there were used birch, gray alder and alder with red heartwood. There were 99 test pieces in this research. This research looked at how the color of red hearwood and healthy wood changes after heat treatment, and also after planing, grinding and oil treatment the difference between the color of healthy and red heartwood. The results of this research showed that grinding and planing do not make much difference. If the wood is oiled after heat treatment, the red heartwood and the discoloration of the healthy wood will disappear in a lower processing degree than in unoiled wood.
