Abstrakt
Mesindus on üks põllumajanduse valdkond, millega tegeletakse nii Eestis kui ka mitmetest
teistes riikides. Üheks võimaluseks vähestest, kuidas vaha kärgedelt sulatada, on seda
kuumutada. Nii on antud bakalaureusetöö käigus proovitud kasutada päikeseenergiat nii
vaha sulatamiseks kui ka juhtimissüsteemi toiteks.
Vahasulatussüsteemi eesmärk on sulatada vaha autonoomselt, selleks on kasutatud
päikesepaneeli, mille abil antakse toide kontrollerile, mis annab toite edasi sammmootorile.
Viimase ülesandeks on liigutada vahasulatuskasti. Kontrolleriks valiti Arduino
UNO. Töö käigus ehitati juhtimissüsteem, mis koosneb päikesepaneelist, akust, aku
laadimiskontrollerist, Arduino Uno kontrollerist, reaalajakellast ja samm-mootorist.
Samm-mootorit juhib spetsiaalselt valmistatud programm, mis jälgib vahasulatuskastis
temperatuuri ning hakkab tööle etteantud kellaaegadel. Temperatuuri jälgimine on oluline,
et seade hakkaks tööle, kui temperatuur on ületanud.
Apiculture is widely spread in all over the world. In the realm of apiculture, there aren’t many approaches to melt wax from a wax comb. One of the techniques is to melt the wax. We found a system to melt wax using solar power. With the use of solar panel that gives power to a microcontroller wax is melted autonomously. The controller (Arduino UNO) transfers power to stepper motor that shifts wax-melting box. Control system was built which consists of solar panel, battery, battery charger controller, Arduino Uno controller, real time clock, and stepper motor. The stepper motor starts at certain times and we designed a code that observes the temperature of the wax-melting box. The device starts once the temperature reaches 30 degrees in Celcius.
