2014. aastal toimub konverents "Taastuvate energiaallikate uurimine ja kasutamine"
juba 16 korda. TEUK on läbi aastate olnud üks põhilisi taastuvenergia valdkonna teadurite,
praktikute, poliitikute ja lihtsalt huviliste kohtumispaiku.
Konverentsi põhifookuses on sel korral vastvalminud Eesti pikaajaline energiamajanduse
arengukava (ENMAK 2030+), et peegeldada paremini ühiskonnas arenevaid olulisi
teemasid. Nimetatud arengukava kirjeldab erinevaid energiamajandusstsenaariume,
energiamajanduses. Lisaks suulistele ettekannetele on esindatud ka posterettekanded
väga laia teemaderingiga, alates mikrovetikate kasutamisest energeetikas kuni bioetanooli
ja erineva koostisega puitbrikettide tootmiseni.
Konverentsi programm on sel korral jagatud kaheks teemavaldkonnaks: Päeva alustab

Annual conference Investigation and Usage of Renewable Energy Sources is being held already 16th time. The conference has been the main meeting point for renewable energy sector politicians, scientists and practitioners throughout its history. The main focus of this year’s conference will be Estonian long-term energy management plan (ENMAK 2030+), to refl ect the current important topics in the community. The development plan determines development scenarios in energy economy for the next twenty years and focuses on sustainability, competitiveness, energy effi ciency and energy security. In addition to the regular scientifi c presentations, this year we talk more about the results and trends in long-term energy management. Besides oral presentations we also exhibit poster presentations with very diverse topics ranging from studies on microalgae in energy production to bioethanol and briquette production from different biomass. The program of the jubilee conference is divided into two main sections: First part of the day focuses on visions in renewable energy sector. Second part gives and overview of different renewable energy research results. Day is summarised with presentations and open discussion on what possibilities does the new development plan provide for Estonia. Discussion will bring together representatives from involved ministries, as well as Estonian Development Fund and Estonian National Committee of the World Energy Council. The discussion enables politicians, scientists and practitioners to debate on oncoming sustainable development possibilities. Enjoy the presentations and have a wonderful reading!
