The seminar "How do I choose a good journal wisely? Some aspects of open-access publishing" was conducted by Paulina Milewska | ELSEVIER | Customer Consultant for CE Europe ScienceDirect | Scopus | Mendeley • Choosing a journal to read or to publish in can sometimes be tricky. Learn how to check and compare journals using bibliometric parameters and relevant tools in Scopus to ensure you have all the resources to make a fully informed decision regarding a journal. • Also, will be given an up-to-date overview of open-access publishing practices, what should be kept in mind archiving articles (after publishing in journals) in an institutional repository to ensure full compliance with open-access policies, and what kind of road (green, gold) to choose. The seminar took place on March 21, 2023, in the hall of the Estonian University of Life Scienceseng
