Abstrakt
Viimastel aastakümnetel on täheldatud tõusvat meemesilaste suremuse taset
nii Euroopas, kui ka Ameerika Ühendriikides. Laialdast pestitsiidide
kasutamist peetakse üheks peamiseks mesilasperede hukkumist põhjustavaks
asjaoluks. Töö eesmärgiks oli väljaselgitada, kuidas mõjutavad insektitsiid
tau-fluvalinaat, fungitsiid tebukonasool ja nende kahe aine segu
meemesilaste eluiga. Katses manustati mesilastele süstla kaudu 20 päeva
jooksul vastavate pestitsiididega saastunud sööta ning jälgiti nende suremust
päevade lõikes. Uurimistöö tulemusena selgus, et töös kasutatud väikesed
doosid mõjutavad meemesilaste eluiga. Tebukonasool üksiku ainena
mesilaste eluiga oluliselt ei mõjutanud, samas kui tau-fluvalinaat lühendas
mesilaste eluiga oluliselt kontrollgrupiga võrreldes. Lisaks tuvastati nende
kahe aine sünergeetiline mõju.
Over the past decades beekeepers have noticed an increase in honeybee mortality in Europe and the United States. The widespread usage of pesticides has been claimed to be one of the major factors in the honeybee colony losses. The aim of the present study was to investigate the effect and co-effect of tau-fluvalinate and tebuconazole on honeybee longevity. In the experiment the feed mixture with pesticides were administered via syringes throughout the 20 days during which the honeybees were observed daily until they died. The current study showed that the small doses of pesticides have an impact on honeybees longevity. Tebuconazole as a single compund did not affected honeybees survival. Tau-fluvalinate, however, affected honeybees significantly compared to the control group. In addition, the synergistic effect of those two pesticides was determined.
