Abstrakt
Maasikate kasvatamisel soovitakse vähendada kemikaalide kasutamist. Umbrohtusid on
võimalik tõrjuda multšimisega ning haiguseid ja kahjureid defoliatsiooni teel. Töö
eesmärgiks oli välja selgitada kahe- ja kolmeaastaste sordi ’Darselect’ maasikataimede
lehtede leegitamise ja biostimulaatori Humistar mõju leegitatud taimedele. Katsed viidi
läbi 2011- 2013. aastal Eesti Maaülikooli katseaias maasikasordiga ’Darselect’. Esimese
leegitamise järel vähenes lehtede arv ja kahekordse leegitamise järel vähenes lehtede (33
%) ja õisikute (27%) arv. Kahekordne leegitamine vähendas juurekaela ja juurte massi.
Humistari lahusega kastmisel oli positiivne mõju leegitatud taimedele. Leegitamisel oli
negatiivne mõju maasika saagikusele. 2013. aastal vähenes oluliselt primaasete ja
sekundaarsete viljade viljamass. Edasiselt võiks katsetada ka ühekordset leegitamist 3.
aastal ja uurida selle mõju taimede elujõule ja saagikusele, eesmärgiga saada kvaliteetset
saaki ka neljandal aastal.
In strawberry production the aim is to reduce the use of chemicals. It is possible to fend off weeds by mulching and by defoliation. The objective of present research was to determine the influence of post-harvest defoliation by flaming leaves and adding biosimulant Humistar in a two and three-year- old plantation to cultivar ’Darselect’. The experiment with straberry cultivar Darselect was carried out at the Reasearch Centre of Organic Farming of Estoninan University of Life Sciences. The test results showed that double defoliation decreased the number of leaves and inflorescence number. After the second defoliation decreased up to 27% the number of inflorescences and leaf number up to 33%. Double defoliation reduced strawberry crown and root weight. Defoliation with Humistar had positive impact, although the results was not better compared to control variant. Defoliation had negative impact on the strawberry yield. In 2013 primary and secondary fruit mass decreased. Further, we could experiment one time defoliation in third year to examine the impact on the vitality of plants and yield, in order to obtain high quality of yields in fourth year.
