kütkestavaid elemente, on Aida peosaal.
Käesoleva töö eesmärk on täiustada Aida peosaali roheala taimsete- ja tehislike
elementidega, kujundades olemasoleva roheala ümber meelteaiaks. Kujundatava meelteaia
eesmärk on anda juurde lisaväärtust olemasolevale peosaalile, pakkudes külastajatele
võimalust soovi korral veeta aega roheruumis ning tutvuda mitmete taimedega, mida
linnaruumis kohtab aina vähem. Loodava ruumi eesmärk on kütkestada ruumi kasutajate
viit meelt: nägemine, kuulmine, haistmine, kompimine ning maitsmine. Lahenduse
As urbanisation continues to intensify, green spaces are increasingly being overshadowed, despite their importance in supporting people's everyday use of urban environments. At the same time, there are numerous semi-public green areas with considerable potential that have not been purposefully developed for various reasons. One such example is the green area surrounding Aida Eventhall, which has strong potential to become an attractive and multifunctional outdoor space but currently lacks engaging features that would encourage visitors to spend time there. The aim of this thesis is to enhance the green area of Aida Eventhall by introducing both natural and artificial elements, transforming the existing space into a sensory garden. The proposed sensory garden is intended to increase the value of the venue by providing visitors with the opportunity to enjoy a green environment and become acquainted with a variety of plant species that are becoming increasingly rare in urban settings. The design of the sensory garden is guided by the objective of creating a diverse spatial experience that stimulates all five human senses: sight, hearing, smell, touch, and taste. The design proposal is based on observations collected over several years, scientific literature, and analyses previously conducted on the site. As a result of this thesis, a sensory garden will be created that supports the well-being of its users, stimulates all five senses, and provides a safe, accessible, and enjoyable environment.
