The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to investigate how different keeping conditions can affect horse health. To achieve this goal, a survey was conducted and shared on social media (Facebook). The collected data was analyzed and then processed using the spreadsheet program MS Excel 2019. The results showed that limited availability and low quality roughage was associated with more frequent health problems. It was also found that behavioral problems occurred more when horses spent less time outdoors. Health problems occurred more when using some bedding materials, but this may have been caused by the quality of the bedding and the frequency of cleaning the stalls. The work highlights the need to consider the natural needs of the horse to ensure the health and well-being of the animal. Further research would help to understand the topic more deeply and confirm the results obtained.
