Abstrakt
Antud magistritöö eesmärgiks oli planeerida puidu kuivatamise ja kuumtöötluse seade
merekonteinerist selliselt, et planeeritav kamber täidaks ISPM – 15 rahvusvahelise standardi
nõudeid. Esiteks selgitati välja ISPM – 15 standardist tulenevad nõuded, mis pidid olema
tagatud kambri planeerimisel. Peamisteks ülesanneteks said kuivatamise ja
kuumtöötluskambris kasutatava soojusallika soojusvõimsus ning soojustamise vajaduse välja
selgitamine. Uurimustöö käigus oli vajalik olemasolevate tehnoloogiate uurimine ja parima
kuivatamise ja kuumtöötluse metoodika välja valimine. Suure osa tööst moodustas
katsemetoodika rakendamine, mille käigus valmis merekonteineri vähendatud mudel, milles
viidi läbi rida erinevaid katseid. Katseid teostades täiustati mudelit töö käigus nii, et lõpuks
saavutati saematerjali kuivatamine ja kuumtöötlus, mis vastas algselt seatud eesmärkidele.
Katsetuste käigus said kõige suuremateks probleemideks, mida tuli lahendada ühtlaste ning
piisavalt kõrgete temperatuuride saavutamine terves konteineri mudelis. Lahendusena
õnnestus ühtlased temperatuurid saavutada ehitades mudelisse šamott tellistest õhukanal ning
lisades ventilaatorid õhu liigutamiseks mudelis. Magistritöös kasutati ka arvutusmetoodikat,
mille käigus vaadeldi teooriat puidu kuivamisest. Vaadeldud soojustamise vajadus osutus
oluliseks eriti seda juhul, kui planeeritavat kuivatamise ja kuumtöötluse kambrit kasutatakse
välitingimustes.
The aim of the thesis was to plan a wood drying and heat treatment equipment made of a sea container. The planned chamber must meet the ISPM 15 international standard. It was necessary to determine the specific requirements which are valid for the ISPM 15 standard. The second task was to identify if it is necessary to insulate the sea container and how much power the heater needs for treating wood. This, in turn, required the existing technology research and choosing the best drying and heat treatment method. A large amount of work was done using experimental methodology, a reduced model of the sea container during several experiments. Experiments were carried out and after every experiment the sea container model was improved, so that eventually the model reached the drying and heat treatment results, which corresponded to the goals initially set. During the experiments the biggest problem was achieving homogeneous and sufficient temperature within the entire sea container model. The thesis also used calculation methodology, which focused on the theory of wood drying and heat treatment process. The solution was reached by building an air duct of chamotte bricks and adding fans to move the air inside the model. The experiments and calculation methodology showed that the need for insulation is high especially if the drying and heat treatment chamber is used outdoors.
