Abstrakt
Välgulöök ehitisse või ehitise lähedale on ohtlik ehitistele ja inimestele. Kaitseks
välgulöögi ohtlike mõjude eest kasutatakse erinevaid kaitsemeetmeid. Et kaitsemeetmed
oleksid efektiivsed, peavad need vastama teatud nõuetele. Õigete kaitsemeetmete valik on
väga oluline. Käesolev töö annab ülevaate piksekaitsemeetmete valimisest,
projekteerimisest ja paigaldamisest. Töös tutvustatakse piksekaitset käsitlevaid Euroopa
standardeid ja kohalikke normatiivakte ning piksekaitse vajaduse määramise ja hindamise
protseduure. Kirjeldatakse piksekaitsesüsteemi projekteerimise protsessi ja antakse
ülevaade piksekaitsesüsteemis kasutatavatest seadmetest, nende paigaldusviisidest ja
hooldamisest.
A lightning strike into a building or near a building is dangerous to buildings and people. For protection against the dangerous effects of lightning strikes, different protection measures are used. To ensure that protective measures are effective, they must meet certain requirements. Choosing the right protection measures is very important. This thesis gives an overview of the selection, design and installation of lightning protection measures. The thesis introduces European standards and local regulations which deal with lightning protection and the procedures for determining and assessing the need for lightning protection. The lightning protection system design process is described and an overview of the equipment used in the lightning protection system, its installation methods and maintenance.
