Abstrakt
Elektrihinnad on kõikuvad ning elektriautode laadimine maksab nendest sõltuvalt. Selleks, et elektriautode laadimine oleks võimalikult taskukohane on vaja jälgida elektrihindu ning nendele vastavalt laadida. Bakalaureusetöö käigus konstrueeriti nutikas laadimisjaam elektriautodele mis kasutab elektrihindade jälgimiseks ja nendele vastavalt laadimisprotsessi juhtimiseks mikrokontrollerit ESP8266. Loodud seade on mõeldud öiseks laadimiseks, valides selleks välja odavamate hindadega ajavahemikud.
Electricity prices fluctuate, and the cost of charging electric cars depends on those fluctuations. To make charging electric cars more affordable, it is necessary to monitor electricity prices and charge accordingly. During this bachelor’s thesis, a smart charging station was designed, which uses the ESP8266 microcontroller to monitor electricity prices and controle the charging process accordingly. The charging station is designed for night-time charging, selecting periods with lower prices. Both hardware and software aspects of the device have been tested and based on these tests it can be concluded that the device functions as desired. An analysis has also been conducted comparing expenses between a charging process controlled based on electricity prices and a charging process that is not within a sett ime-frame. The device needs improvements for it to be used daily.
