Abstrakt
Käesoleva töö eesmärgiks oli hinnata erineva vanusega mustika kasvukohatüübi
männikute alustaimestiku maa-alust ja maapealset biomassi ja sellesse seotud süsinikku.
Uuritud puistud (0-, 4-, 9-, 25-, 45- ja 150a) asuvad Tartu- ja Põlvamaal.
Proovialade alustaimestiku maapealset biomassi hinnati prooviruutude meetodil.
Alustaimestiku maapealne biomass oli proovialati 4,26, 6,84, 7,41, 1,33, 2,15 ja 2,99 t ha-
1
vastavalt 0-, 4-, 9-, 25-, 45- ja 150-aastastes puistutes. Alustaimestiku maapealse
biomassi süsiniku tagavara oli proovialati vastavalt 1,90, 3,13, 3,36, 0,60, 0,96 ja 1,36 t C
ha-1
. Nii alustaimestiku maapealne biomass kui ka süsiniku tagavara oli suurim
samblarindes.
Alustaimestiku maapealset produktsiooni hinnati proovidest juhuslikult valitud puhmaste
ja sammalde uute ja vanade kasvude eraldamise, kaalumise ja produktsiooni arvutamise
meetodil. Alustaimestiku maapealse biomassi aastane produktsioon oli vastavalt
proovialadele 1,73, 3,26, 3,39, 0,66, 0,90 ja 1,27 t ha-1
.
Alustaimestiku maa-alust biomassi hinnati mullapuuriga võetud proovide abil.
Alustaimestiku maa-alune biomass oli uuritud puistutes (0-, 4-, 9-, 25- ja 45a) vastavalt
0,31, 1,42, 1,72, 0,88 ja 0,96 t ha-1
. Kõige enam alustaimestiku juuri leidus 0-20 cm
mullakihis. Alustaimestiku maa-aluse biomassi süsiniku tagavara oli proovialati vastavalt
0,15, 0,53, 0,80, 0,41 ja 0,44 t C ha-1
.
Alustaimestiku maa-alust produktsiooni hinnati juurevõrkude meetodil. Alustaimestiku
maa-alust biomassi produktsiooni hinnati 4-, 9-, 25- ja 45-aastastes puistutes ning aastane
produktsioon alustaimestiku juurtes oli vastavalt 0,16, 0,71, 0,10 ja 0,10 t ha-1
.
The aim of this study was to estimate above- and belowground biomass of ground vegetation and the accumulated carbon in it in Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris) stands of different ages in Myrtillus forest site type. The stands (0-, 4-, 9-, 25-, 45- and 150-yearold) involved in present study are located in Tartu and Põlva county. The aboveground biomass of ground vegetation was estimated with 1 m2 quadrat sample method. Aboveground biomass of ground vegetation as 4.26, 6.84, 7.41, 1.33, 2.15 and 2.99 t ha-1 in 0-, 4-, 9-, 25-, 45- and 150-year-old stands, respectively. The carbon storage of aboveground biomass of ground vegetation was 1.90, 3.13, 3.36, 0.60, 0.96 and 1.36 t C ha-1 , respectively. The biomass and carbon storage results were both highest in moss layer. The aboveground biomass of ground vegetation was established using a method where shrubs were taken randomly out of the samples taken from the stands, old and present years’ growths were sorted separately, samples were weighed and production calculated. The annual production of belowground biomass of ground vegetation was 1.73, 3.26, 3.39, 0.66, 0.90 and 1.27 t ha-1 in 0-, 4-, 9-, 25-, 45- and 150-year-old stands, respectively. The belowground biomass of ground vegetation was estimated on the basis of soil cores, which were taken using a soil auger. The belowground biomass of ground vegetation was 0.31, 1.42, 1.72, 0.88 and 0.96 t ha-1 in 0-, 4-, 9-, 25- and 45-year-old stands, respectively. Most of the roots of ground vegetation were in 0-20 cm layer. The carbon storage of belowground biomass of ground vegetation was 0.15, 0.53, 0.80, 0.41 and 0.44 t C ha-1 in 0-, 4-, 9-, 25- and 45-year-old stands, respectively. The annual production of belowground biomass of ground vegetation was established using the mesh root method.
