Abstrakt
Töö tulemusena on valminud läbi koostaja silmade projektlahendus, pakkudes välja ühe võimaluse,
kuidas ala atraktiivseks muuta.
Esiteks selgitan eelmisel semestril valminud projekti ülekannet praegusele projektalale. Kujunasin
koos Ave Arraku ja Rauno Pilvikuga rekreatsiooni, elamis- ja äriala. Meie töö pea-eesmärgiks oli
tuua alale juurde kasutajaid ja leida sellele kindel funktsioon. Lisaks arvestada läheduses olevaid
hooneid ja teid. Projekteerimisel oli kõige tähtsam arvestada potentsiaalsete kasutajate vajadusi.
Selleks olid eelkõige üliõpilased, pered ja külastajad. Teede planeerimisel võtsime seisukoha, et
ala oleks hästi läbitav ja kutsuks alaga tutvuma. Lisaks paigutasime teede äärde nn sopistustesse
istepinke, kus saaks rahulikult peatuda ja jalga puhata. Sellest kõigest tulenevalt tajusin mingit
sarnasust nende kahe ala vahel. Mõlemad alad on antud hetkel vähekasutatavad, kuna puudub
ühtne funktsioon.
Selleks, et leida parim lahendus alale, analüüsisin ala ümbrust ja otsisin selle parimaid omadusi,
mida saaks projektalale üle kanda. Põhielemendiks sai terviklik miljööväärtuslik ala oma omapäraste
hoonete ja olemuse poolest, mis sobisid just alale üle kanda.
Läbides erinevaid etappe, sai peamiseks kujunduselemendiks elamuala, mida täiendavad haljasalad,
mis püüavad inimeste tähelepanu ja kutsuvad alaga tutvuma ning selle enda omaks võtma. Krundid
on paigutatud eelkõige ühele poole tänavat, et tekitada ühtne tänavajoon. Teiselpool tänavat jäävad
neli krunti, mis jagavad haljasala pooleks, et tekitada erinevaid tsoone. Eelmisest projektist on
ülekantud istumisalad, mis selles projektis väljenduvad mänguväljakutena, mida ühendavad teed
ja eraldavad puud ja põõsad.
This work was made during the spring semester of the year 2011/2012 in the Estonian University of Life Sciences. The project area is sitated in Tartu, between Riia, Kastani, Võru, Väike kaar and Raudtee streets, in a residential and business area. The scenario is that the cargo-trains are taken out of the city and the former harbour railroad is turned into a recreational bicycle road. The concept of our work had to be connected with the project we made last semester- Rüütelpark. Firstly, I will explain last semester’s project transmission to this project area. I designed together with Ave Arrak and Rauno Pilvik a recreation, residential and business area. The main purpose of this project was to bring more users to the area and find it a certain function. In addition to take into account facilities and road which are nearby. The most important was to consider the needs of potential users who were students, families and visitors of Tartu. When we designed the roads the main intention was to make the area easily passable and inviting. Besides that we added benches into so-called private lounge where users can sit and relax. Consequence to all this I sensed a little similarity between these two areas. At the moment both areas are slightly used since there is no integrated function. In order to find the best solution to the area I analyzed the surroundings and searched for its best characteristics, which could be transmitted to the project area. The key element became a complete milieu valuable site with its unique buildings and essence which fitted perfectly to be transmitted to the area. While passing different stages the main design element become a residential area which are supplemented by the green area which are catching attention and inviting people to embrace it. Plots are placed in order to create a integrated street line. To the other side of the street remain four plots which are dividing the area into half to create different zones. Sitting areas are transmitted from the first project, which in this new project appear as playgrounds which are connected by roads and isolated by trees and bushes. As a result of this work has been created a project design providing a potential solution which could make the area more attractive. To conclude, I am designing the project area by keeping mind the surrounding and place it self, how people use it. This makes area suitable and people feel comfortable to see and use something what is suitable for this area.
