Tänapäeva elektrienergia varude täitmisel on osa täita ka taastuvenergial, millest üks osa on
tuuleenergia. Üha enam inimesi püstitab endale tuuleturbiine, kuid tihti seda juhuslikku kohta, kus
arvatakse tuult piisavalt puhuvat, kuid hiljem selgub, et valitud koht ei täida ootusi. Enne
tuuleturbiini püstitamist on soovituslik teostada aastane tuule mõõtmine välja valitud asukohas,
kuid tänapäeva moodsa tehnika rentimine maksab palju. Odavama tehnoloogia kasutusele võtuks
on antud uurimistöös katsetatud tehnoloogiat, mida kasutatakse meteoroloogiajaamades. Tuule
kiiruseid on mõõdetud neljas meteoroloogijaamas ja nendele tehtud statistiline analüüs, mille järgi
on välja arvutatud tuuleturbiini teoreetiline elektrienergia toodang ja maksimaal võimsuse
kasutustegur, kui püstitada sinna tuuleturbiinid. Lisaks on töösse valitud kaks asukohta, kuhu on
Renewable energy, part of which is wind energy, is also part of today's energy supply. More and more people are setting up wind turbines, but often on the random spot where the wind is thought to blow sufficiently, but later it turns out that the chosen place does not meet the expectations. Before wind turbine erection, it is recommended to conduct an annual wind measurement at a selected location, but renting modern equipment costs a lot. Cheaper technology is the technology tested in this research, which is used in meteorological stations. Wind speeds have been measured in four meteorological stations and the theoretical productivity calculated by them, when wind turbines were erected. In addition, two locations have been selected for the construction of wind farms in order to compare the results. The results show that the equipment used at the meteorological station can also be used to measure the wind speed, which proves that similar technology could also be used to determine the position of smaller wind turbines.
