Abstrakt
Käesoleva töö eesmärgiks on analüüsida hariliku haava radiaalkasvu reaktsiooni põuale
ning hinnata haavataeliku (Phellinus tremulae) esinemise osakaalu puudel. Käesoleva
lõputöö tulemused põhinevad 45 puu aastarõngaste andmetel, mis on kogutud kolmest
Põlva maakonnas kasvavast haava enamusega puistust. Põuasündmused tuvastati
standardiseeritud sademete-aurustumisindeksite (SPEI) alusel, mis arvutati TartuTõravere meteoroloogiliste andmete põhjal aastateks 1964-2022. Kasvureaktsiooni
hinnati valitud põua-aastatele 1992, 1999, 2002, 2006, 2011, 2013 ja 2018 Lloret’i et al.
(2011) vastupidavusindeksite abil. Tuginedes puursüdamike visuaalsele hindamisele, leiti
et 33–87% kogutud proovidest prooviala kohta olid seenpatogeeni poolt kahjustatud.
Uuritud puude radiaalse kasvu vastupanu põuale oli suhteliselt kõrge, kasvu langust
täheldati vaid mõnel viimasel põua-aastal (nt 2011, 2018). Pärast põuasündmust kasv
taastus kiiresti (juba järgmisel aastal) põuaeelsele tasemele ja pikemat kasvu taastumist
täheldati kõikides proovialades vaid 2011. aastal.
The aim of this work is to analyse the response of the radial growth of Europen aspen to drought, and to estimate the proportion of the aspen bracket (Phellinus tremulae) occurrence based on collected samples. The results of this thesis are based on the tree-ring data of 45 trees, obtained from three aspen dominated stands growing in Põlva County. The drought events for this study was identified based on standardised precipitationevaporation indices (SPEI), which were calculated using Tartu-Tõravere meteorological data for1964-2022. Growth response to selected drought years of 1992, 1999, 2002, 2006, 2011, 2013 and 2018 were assessed by using Lloret et al. (2011) resilience indices. It was found that 33-87% of the collected samples per site were affected by fungus, as visually observed on the increment cores. Radial growth resistance to drought was high in studied trees with growth decline observed only for some last drought years (e.g. 2011, 2018). After the drought event growth recovered to the pre-drought level quickly-already next year. Longer growth recovery in all sites was observed for 2011 year.
