Abstrakt
Käesolevas bakalaureusetöös soovib autor välja selgitada, kas varjeturismiga tegelemine
on Eesti mastaabis jätkusuutlik ja tasuv.
Teemast tulenevalt on uurimisküsimusteks „Kas varjeturismiga tegelemine on Eesti
mastaabis jätkusuutlik ja tasuv?“ ning „Kes on potentsiaalsed kliendid (eestlased või
välismaalased) ning milline on nende sihtgrupp (tavakülastajad, loodushuvilised,
fotograafid jne)?“
Lähtuvalt uurimisküsimustest on uurimise käigus kontrollitavad hüpoteesid järgnevad:
Varjeturismiga tegelemine on Eestis jätkusuutlik ja tasuv;
On olemas potentsiaalsed kliendid kes varjeturismi elamust või toodet kasutaksid;
Eestile omapärane looduslik mitmekesisus garanteerib positiivse varjeturismi
elamuse.
Uuringu käigus teostati olemasolevate varjeturismi alaste kirjandusallikate analüüs ning
seejärel viidi 2017. aasta märtsi- ja aprillikuus läbi epiiriline uuring, mis koosnes kahest
osast: ankeetküsimustikust internetis ning intervjuu vormis küsitlusest varjeturismi teenust
pakkuvate isikutega.
Kokkuvõtlikult saab väita, et uuring oli edukas. Uuringu käigus saadi vastused
uurimisküsimustele ning tööhüpoteesidele. Tulemustest selgus, et varjeturismiga
tegelemine Eestis on jätkusuutlik, on olemas potentsiaalsed kliendid ning Eesti looduslik
mitmekesisus tagab kõikidele sihtgruppidele positiivse varjeturismi elamuse.
In this diploma thesis, the author is trying to find out whether or not photo hide tourism has the potential to be practicable in the conditions of Estonia. The research questions are „Is photo hide tourism in Estonia sustainable and profitable?“ and „Who are the main customers (estonians or foreigners) and what are the main target groups of those customers (general public, nature enthusiasts, photographers etc)?“ Based on the research questions the following hypotheses are: Photo hide tourism in Estonia is sustainable and profitable; There are potential customers who are willing to use photo hide services and products; Estonia's unique natural diversity ensures a positive experience for the photo hide tourism customers. Research was divided into two parts. First, a complete analysis of materials containing information about wildlife watching tourism and ecotourism in general was conducted. And secondly, a empirical research, consisting of online questionnaire and interviews with people from wildlife watching companies was conducted. It can be said that research was a success. The research provided truthful answers for the research questions and the hypotheses. The results show that photo hide tourism in Estonia is sustainable, there are many potential customers and Estonia’s unique natural diversity ensures a positive experience for all the target groups.
