Abstrakt
Käesoleva bakalaureusetöö eesmärk oli koostada Järvselja kvartalil 275 asuva männi harvendusraiete katseala kolme proovitüki kronoloogiad (eraldi vara- ja hilispuiduga), millede abil saaks antud lõputöö raames uurida kliima mõju katsealal olevate puude radiaalsele juurdekasvule ning võimaldada edasisi uuringuid raiete, kliima ja konkurentsi mõju uuringuteks.
Välitööd teostati 2011. aasta novembris. Proovid loeti ja töödeldi dendrokronoloogiliste meetoditega (ristdateerimine, detrendimine). Andmetele teostati regressioon- ja korrelatsioonanalüüs kliima näitajatega aastast 1948-2009.
Tulemuseks saadi harvendusraiete katseala kronoloogilised seeriad proovialade kaupa, eraldi kevad- ja sügispuidu osadega. Analüüsi tulemusel osutusid kliima mõjuritest esimesel ja teisel proovitükil statistiliselt olulisteks radiaalset juurdekasvu mõjutavateks teguriteks kasvule eelneva aasta augusti ning sama aasta juulikuu sademed ning temperatuur. Kolmandal proovitükil kliima puude juurdekasvule statistiliselt olulist mõju ei omanud.
The goal of this Bachelor’s Thesis was to create chronologies (separately on early- and latewood) for three different study plots of thinning of Scots Pine located in Järvselja, compartment 275. The chronologies would enable to study (within the thesis) the effect of climate on the radial growth of trees and also enable some future researches to study the effect of thinning, climate and competition on the radial growth of trees. The empirical data was collected in November 2011. The samples were read and worked on with dendrochronological methods (cross-dating, detrending). After that, regression and correlation analysis were made, using climate figures from years 1948-2009. As a result, three chronologies were achieved, with separately on early- and latewood. The analysis showed that statistically important climate figures on part 1 and 2 of the study plot to the trees radial growth were the rainfall and temperature of previous August and same year July. On the third part of the study plot the climate did not had a statistically important effect on the trees radial growth.
