Abstrakt
Kase punasüdamik spoon on väheväärtuslik materjal, mida spooni tootmises ei ole selle
halbade omaduste tõttu kasutatud. Käesoleva lõputöö eesmärgiks on parendada kase
punasüdamik spooni omadusi kasutades selleks eelpressimist.
Uurimustöös kasutati kase punasüdamik spooni ning võrdluseks tehti katseid kase
spooniga. Kokku oli töös 228 katsekeha. Antud töös vaadati, kuidas muutuvad
katsekehade paksus, tugevus ja karedus eelpressimise käigus.
Uurimustöö tulemustest selgub, et kase punasüdamik spooni omadused paranesid
eelpressimise käigus. Kase punasüdamik spooni elastsusmoodul suurenes eelpressimise
käigus 2,5 korda. Samuti vähenes kase punasüdamik spooni ja kase spooni karedus ning
paksus eelpressimise käigus.
The birch red heartwood veneer is a material which has a low value. For that reason, red heartwood birch veneer has not been used much in the production of veneer. This thesis aims to improve the quality of the birch red heartwood veneer using pre-pressing. In this research, there were used birch red heartwood veneer and birch veneer for comparison. There were 228 test pieces in this research. In this research, it was studied how the strength, thickness and roughness changed during the pre-pressing. The results of this research showed that the properties of the birch red heartwood veneer improved when the pre-pressing method was used. The birch red heartwood veneer elastic modulus increased 2,5 times during the treatment. The roughness and the thickness decreased after using the pre-pressing method.
