dc.description.abstractKäesolevas magistritöös uuriti peamiselt kontsentrilise asetusega liimpuitlattide tugevus- ja elastsusomadusi. Lisaks katsetati ka võrdluse saamiseks kuuse täispuidust ja kiudude suunaga paralleelselt üksteise peale asetatud lamellidest liimpuitlatte. Magistritöö eesmärgiks on valmistada ja katsetada erinevatest puiduliikidest lamellidega kokku liimitud katsekehasid. Katsetamiseks valmistati üksteist erineva seeria katsekaha: kaheksa eri puuliigi kombinatsiooniga kontsentrilise asetusega liimpuitlatti (CCLT), kaks erineva lamelli paksusega traditsioonilist liimpuitlatti (GL) ning lisaks ka kuuse täispuidust latid (SS). Iga katsekeha lõplikuks pikkuseks oli 1500 mm ja ristlõikeks 80x80 mm. Kõigi katsekehade tegemisel kasutati niiskuskindlat puiduliimi Eskaro B3. Katseseadmega INSTRON 3369 tehti valmistatud lattidega nelja punkti paindekatsed ning universaalse katseseadmega P-125 survekatsed, mille tulemusena saadi teada liimpuidust lattide purustavad jõud ja siirded. Katsetulemustest järeldati, et kontsentrilise asetusega erinevatest puiduliikidest liimpuit lattide tugevusomadused on paremad kui täispuidust ja kiudude suunaga paralleelsetest lamellidest liimitud katsekehade omad. Kontsentrilise asetusega 45° (diamond shape) all koormatud lattide keskmiseks paindetugevuseks saadi 82,53 MPa ja 90° (rectangular shape) all koormatud katsekehade keskmiseks paindetugevuseks 72,69 MPa. Kontsentrilise asetusega erinevates puiduliikidest kombineeritud liimpuitlattide keskmiseks survetugevuseks pikikiudu 48,03 MPa. Võrdluseks täispuiduga saadi katsekehade keskmine paindetugevus ligi kaks korda väiksem ja survetugevus pikikiudu 36,80 MPa. Paremaks võrdluse saamiseks koostati ka kiudude suunaga paralleelsetest lamellidest kokku liimitud puitlatid.est
dc.description.abstractGiven master´s thesis focused on the research of concentrically composited glulam bars and their strength and elastic properties. In addition to the concentrically composited glulam bars there has been made specimens out of solid timber and specimens with lamellas that are parallel to the grain. Purpose of this master´s thesis is to produce and test glulam bars with lamellas that are made out of different species of wood. For the testing there were made eleven different series specimens: eight with different cross-sections with concentrically positioned lamellas (CCLT), two types of traditional glulam bars using lamellas with different dimensions (GL) and finally solid spruce bars. Every specimen had final length of 1500 mm and cross-section dimensions 80 x 80 mm. All the glulam bars were made using moisture proof wood glue Eskaro B3. Four point bending tests were carried out with testing machine INSTRON 3369 and compressive tests were carried out with universal testing machine P-125. Regarding the test results it can be said that concentrically positioned glulam bars made out of different species of wood had better strength properties than solid timber or specimens made out of lamellas that were parallel to the grain. On average concentrically composited glulam bars achieved 82,53 MPa in 45° (diamond shape) bending strength and under 90° (rectangular shape) an average bending strength for concentrically composited glulam bars was 72,69 MPa. On average concentrically composited glulam bars achieved compressive strength 48,03 MPa parallel to the grain. Solid timber specimens had an average bending strength almost two times lower compared to concentrically composited glulam bars and compressive strength parallel to the grain 36,80 MPa. For better comparison there were made glulam bars out of lamellas parallel to the grain.eng
