dc.description.abstractUurimistöö keskendub 3D mudelitele, mis on koostatud fotokaameraga tehtud fotodest, nende valmistamise protsessile ning faktoritele, mis avaldavad mõju mudeli kvaliteedile. Uurimistöös selgitati, kas sellist 3D modelleerimise meetodit võib kasutada geodeesiaga ja ehitusega seotud valdkondades ning kas see meetod on alternatiiviks laserskaneerimisele. Antud uurimistöö eesmärgiks oli uurida fotokaameraga tehtud fotodest modelleeritud 3D mudeli kvaliteedi mõjutavaid faktoreid. Kõik mudelid valmistas autor iseseisvalt kasutades tarkvara Autodesk 123D Catch. Uuriti 3D mudeli nii visuaalset kui ka geomeetrilist kvaliteeti. Visuaalse kvaliteedi hindamiseks autor jagas mudeleid mõjutavad faktorid nelja gruppi: Pildistava objekti struktuur, pildistavad objekti detailsus, kasutatava programmi võimekus ja uurimistöö käigus avastatavad faktorid. Iga faktori uurimiseks tegi autor katsetöö, kus pildistatav objekt oli valitud uurimaks kindlat faktorit. Modelleeritud mudeli geomeetriline kvaliteet oli hinnatud kahe mudeli põhjal, mis olid valmistatud erinevatel meetoditel ja viidud õigesse mõõtkavasse. Mudelite geomeetriliseks kvaliteediks saadi statiivita pildistatud 3D mudeli modelleerimise meetodi puhul 0,7 cm. ja statiiviga pildistatud 3D mudeli modelleerimise meetodi tulemus on 1,3 cm. Järeldati, et mudeli kvaliteedile avaldab mõju objekti struktuur (läbipaistvus, läikivus), detailsus ning fotode kattuvus, fotode arv ja töötleva tarkvara pädevus ning pildistamine võib toimuda ilma statiivita.EST
dc.description.abstractThe research focuses on 3D models, which have been compiled from pictures taken with a camera, their preparation process and the factors that influence the quality of the model. It was explained if the 3D modelling can be used in geodesy and construction-related fields, and if this method is an alternative to laser scanning. The aim of this research was to explore the factors that affect the quality of the 3D model which was modelled from the pictures taken with a hand-held camera. All models were prepared independently by the author using Autodesk 123D Catch software. Visual and geometrical qualities of the 3D model were examined. To assess the visual quality, author divided the factors that affect the models into four groups: the structure of the object being photographed, the detail in object being photographed, competencies of the program being used and the discovered factors during the research. To explore each factor the author did an experiment, where object being photographed was selected to investigate a specific factor. The geometrical quality of the modelled model was evaluated on the basis of two models that had been prepared by various methods, and brought into the correct scale. Geometrical quality with tripod photographed 3D model was 0,7 cm and without tripod photographed 3D model geometrical quality was 1,3 cm. It was concluded that the model structure of the object (transparency, glossiness), the level of detail, images overlap, the number of images, the processing software competence had an impact on the quality and imaging may be held without a tripod.en
